This brand new post continues the episodes about inspiration that started here. I'm talking through books, magazines, and some cool pics as well!

LOVE STYLE LIFE by Garance Doré

Es uno de los mejores libros autobiográficos que he leído. No es que Garance Doré cuente la historia de su vida en un formato único, sino que el libro está escrito de una manera en que llegas a conocerla poco a poco, por temas que se conectan en su persona. Primero habla de seguridad en uno mismo, luego de estilo y elegancia, más tarde de amor y amigos,... todo desde una perspectiva personal y divertida. Lo que más me gusta del libro es:

• las citas simples y realistas

• las partes tachadas de las frases, que borran pensamientos utópicos o estereotípicos

• la perfecta forma de expresar cómo piensa y su filosofía de vida

• el diseño: limpio, elegante, divertido y, sobretodo, único y original

• EL CAPÍTULO SOBRE ELEGANCIA. No trata de estilo sino de actitud. ¡Es mi favorito sin duda!

This is one of the best auto-biographic books I've ever read. Not that Garance Doré tells the whole story of her life in a unique format: the book is written in a way in which you get to know her by topics which become linked in her. First she talks self-confidence, then syle and elegance, then love, then friends,... everything from a personal and fun perspective. Some aspects I love about the book are:

• the simple and realistic quotes

• the crossed parts of the sentences, which usually delete stereotypes or ideal thoughts

• the perfect way of expressing how she thinks and understands life

• the design: clean, smart, fun and unique above all

• THE CHAPTER OF ELEGANCE. Not about fashion, but about attitude. It is my absolute favourite!

VOGUE MAGAZINES

Lo sé, todo un clásico... ¡Pero no lo son para mí! Mi primera revista la compré en Mayo y desde entonces he seguido haciéndolo porque me encantan los reportajes fotográficos (imágenes de alta calidad y todas sobre el mismo tema) y también los artículos: me los leo todos, los encuentro muy interesantes. Leyendo Vogue he descubierto a gente con historias increíbles y he aprendido cosas nuevas sobre la industria de la moda.

I know, I know, such a classic. But not so much for me anyway. I bought my first magazine in May, and I've kept on buying them. I love the image report, with very high quality pictures about a same topic; but I also read all the articles because I find them so interesting! By reading Vogue I've found out people with amazing stories and I've learnt new things about the fashion industry.

WOMEN IN THIS TOWN by Giuseppe Santamaria

Women In This Town es un diario de street style. Es un libro precioso de fotografía que incluye también entrevistas y breves comentarios sobre las imágenes. Fotografiado alrededor del mundo, ¡es un libro perfecto que ojear cuando estás sin ideas!

Women In This Town is a street-style journal. It is a beautiful photography book which also contains some interviews and little commentaries on the pictures. Captured all around the globe, it is a perfect book to look through when feeling uninspired!

COLLAGE VINTAGE

No es que sea una experta en la fotografía street style, pero son mis fotógrafos favoritos de los que conozco. Durante el mes de las semanas de la moda, recorren el mundo de NY a Londres y a París para capturar los mejores conjuntos y las nuevas tendencias. Su página es esta.

Not to say that I'm an expert in street-style photography, but they're my favourite photographers amongst the ones in my radar. During fashion weeks' month, they travel from NY to London and Paris in order to capture the best outfits and trends. Check them out here.

ZARA EDITORIALS

El imperio de Zara es bien conocido por muchas cosas, pero no por sus editoriales. La verdad es que merece la pena echarlas un vistazo! Fotos tipo revista y ropa moderna y asequible, ¿qué más pedir?

The Zara empire is known for a lot of things, but not for its editorials. Well, they are definitely worth a scroll through! Magazine-like pictures and fashionable (and affordable) clothing, not much more to ask for really.
